Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
This policy explains what information BlackInPattaya.org collects, how we use it and the choices you have. BlackInPattaya.org is part of the Black Travel Network and is run by Hood Box Office LLC (“we”, “us”).
What we collect
Email sign-ups: the email address you give us when you join our list or ask for a free guide.
Messages: anything you send us through a form on the site or by email.
Comments: anything you post publicly on the site, along with the name you post under.
Usage information: the pages you visit, your device and browser type, your approximate location based on your IP address, and similar data collected through cookies.
How we use it
To send the free guides and emails you asked for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
To answer your messages.
To see which pages people read so we can improve them.
To keep the site secure, stop spam and fraud, and meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run the site, and only as much as they need:
Wix.com, which hosts the site and its forms.
Email and analytics tools that deliver our emails and measure how the site is used.
Video platforms such as YouTube. Some videos on the site are embedded from them, and when you play one, that platform may collect information under its own privacy policy.
Booking partners such as Klook. When you follow one of our links to a partner site, that site can see you came from us. We don’t pass them your name or email.
Authorities, when the law requires it, or a buyer of our business if the business is ever sold.
Cookies
The site uses cookies to make it work, remember your settings and count visits. Partner links may set a cookie on the partner’s site so they can tell us a booking came through us. You can accept or refuse non-essential cookies in the cookie banner, and clear cookies in your browser at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it or delete it, and you can unsubscribe from emails at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights: California residents can ask to know, correct and delete their information and won’t be treated differently for doing so, and people in the EU and UK have rights under the GDPR, including the right to object and to complain to their data protection authority. To make a request, email info@blacktravel.org. We reply within 30 days.
How long we keep it
We keep sign-ups and messages for as long as we need them to send what you asked for or to answer you. After that we delete or anonymize them, except for records the law requires us to keep.
Security
We rely on the security built into our platform, including encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send us anything you would not want exposed.
Children
The site is not aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Where your information is handled
Our platform stores data in the United States and other countries where its providers operate, and part of our team works outside the United States. By using the site, you understand that your information may be handled in those countries.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top.
